Introduction for the teacher .These six lessons are designed to help children understand their union with the redemptive work of Jesus Christ. For generations, God’s children have been taught that everything Jesus did from the Garden of Gethsemane to the Cross and in His subsequent resurrection; "He did for us," and that is not true. Jesus came as the perfect man, with the life of God in Him. He was the only person walking on this earth with no sin in Him. Then He obeyed God and identified with fallen humanity, so much so that He actually became human (man hewn down). He took on all of the sins of the world, and the affect of Adam’s unbelief affected his spirit, soul and body. He experience death in all three realms, as our Federal Head. The Bible called Him our last Adam. After He drank the bitter cup of humanity, six things happen to Him, which are crucified, died, buried, quickened, raised and seated. The first three instances were the getting rid of fallen man. The next three instances were the bringing forth of the New Creation Man, which is Jesus Christ and all those in union with Him. He is the head, and all believers are His body. There are many pictures in the Old Testament, which show us the Six Steps to the Throne. The main two we use, when we teach adults is: I Kings 10:18-20 Moreover, the king made a great throne of ivory, and overlaid it with the best gold. The throne had six steps, and the top of the throne was round behind; and thee were stays on either side on the place of the seat, and two lions stood beside the stays. And twelve lions stood there on the one side and on the other upon the six steps; there was not the like made in any kingdom. The throne represents the place of rest in God. Each of these steps represents the revelation of CDBQRS. When the believer allows the Holy Spirit to give them "a spirit of wisdom and revelation in the knowledge of Jesus Christ," then and only then will the believer walk in total rest with their Lord; resulting in the salvation of the soul (mind, will and emotions), and then the redemption of the body. Another picture we use is found in the Tabernacle of Moses: Numbers 4:7 7 And upon the table of shewbread they shall spread a cloth of blue, and put thereon the dishes, and the spoons, and the bowls, and covers to cover withal: and the continual bread shall be thereon: A study of this table of showbread, will reveal to the student that there were six stacks of bread on one side of the table, and six stacks of bread on the others side; they were loaves of bread. Also there was a vessel of wine in the center of the table. This is a picture of Jesus CDBQRS and the believer CDBQRS with Him. This table is found in the Holy Place room, and there is a Golden Candlestick across from the table, which is burning constantly. This is a picture of the light of the Holy Spirit, shinning revelation on the six aspects of Jesus’ redemptive work and the believers identification (considered the same) with His work. The teachers commission, is to teach the children their union with Christ, thus equipping them to grow up with no fear of a coming judgment, and realizing they are not an old man (Adam), but they are New Creation beings (Body of Christ) in their spirit man, and during the regeneration process of renewing our minds, it is becoming so of our soul and body. Father God wants them to know that He loves them, and has nothing against them. The believer does not have an "old man" because they are new creation beings and their only DNA (divine nature activity) comes from Jesus Christ. Pray over yourself and over the children that the Holy Spirit will give each of you "A spirit of wisdom and revelation, in the knowledge of Jesus Christ." It is our pleasure to make these lessons available to you. Please feel free to share them with others, but please do no altar the content or offer for sale. If we can be of help, feel free to call us any time. In Christ,
Pastor Roy & Donna Richmond
